Bought these thinking they would be just a gimmick, but I was quickly proven wrong. This will NOT descale your machine, but it will clean out the chamber that the pod sits in. I used these AFTER I had descaled my machine so when I placed one of these Nu pods in thinking it would just run clear, I was surprised to see flaky brown bits come out and quite dirty water. Will most certainly be using these going forward, really like them.

In my personal opinion, I find these capsules excellent for removing coffee fat. I have also tried other products, these capsules only need a cupful to dissolve all residues. A second run without a capsule is enough to rinse out the cleaning residue. A clear buy recommendation from me.

Really easy to order and ship. The pump in my A Modo Mio seemed to be straining so ordered these pods to unblock any tight areas in the system, if they existed. Machine still similar, so maybe it is not to do with a blockage. Glad to have the pods on hand though, they make keeping the spout/dispersal area clean and sanitized anyway!
