When was the last time you cleaned your coffee machine? If you can’t remember, then now is the time to do something about it.
Cleaning your coffee equipment requires you to descale your machine’s internal components, but it also requires you to clean the brewing circuit which does not happen when descaling.
For example, if you own a capsule coffee machine, we outlined what the difference between cleaning and descaling is below. As you can see the cleaning is important for the front part of the machine, where as the descaling happens more towards the back.
Fact is, if you do not rid your machine off old coffee oils, bacteria, tannins and lime scale, your coffee might be tasting bad and your machine might not last as long.
